What is an H1 bulb?

The H1 bulb is a single-filament bulb (P14.5s sockel), with a standard halogen power of 55 W. Depending on the vehicle, it equips the helljus, fog light or, more rarely, the halvljus. The H1 LED bulb uses the same sockel, for whiter lighting and instant ignition.

H1 or H7: what's the difference?

The H1 (P14.5s) and H7 (PX26d) sockels are different and not interchangeable: you must choose the one for your vehicle. See details in H1 or H7: can they be replaced with LED?. Frequently asked questions about H1 LED bulbs

What is an H1 bulb for on my car?

Depending on the vehicle, the H1 equips the helljus, fog light or halvljus. The marking on the original bulb or searching by vehicle tells you the exact function.

What's the difference between an H1 and an H7 bulb?

The sockels are different (P14.5s for H1, PX26d for H7): the two bulbs are not interchangeable.

Do I need an adapter to install H1 LED bulbs?

It depends on the vehicle. On some headlights, a bulb socket adapter is needed to properly secure the LED; the vehicle specification indicates this.

Can H1 LED bulbs display an error on the dashboard?

Our packs include an error-cancelling decoder to reduce this risk. If a message persists, an ODB error-cancelling module will complete the installation.

Does CE marking equal road homologation?

No. CE marking attests to electrical compliance with European standards; road homologation depends on the regulations applicable to your vehicle.
